Weekend Special – Eee Gads It’s Hot!

Alright here goes … Hot enough for ya? Yes, indeed it’s hot, hot, hot! It’s the perfect weekend to stay out of the kitchen and on the beach.

Here are a few ideas for a summer picnic:

To Start:
When it’s hot, hot, hot, start off cool with a Shandy. Munch a few Roasted Almonds and Spicy Olives while you relax in the shade.

The Main Event:
When the weather is steamy, salad is the perfect solution! It’s summer’s answer to the one-dish supper. Go for elegant with Lobster with Corn, Tomato & Arugula Salad or hardy with Grilled Steak & Potatoes (it’s the manly choice!) Then again, maybe you’d like some Mexican spice with Tequila Shrimp with Jicama Slaw or Asian flair with Thai Salad.

Sweet Treats:
For a sweet and cool finish, what could be better than Mojito Melons? Of course if your picnic is at home on your deck, then you might like a scoop of ice cream with a dollop of Death by Chocolate Sauce.

Have a fun and enjoy a cool feast! Bon appétit!
