Weatherwise – It Might Not Be Great Weekend!

misty_morning_Pleasant_LakeIt’s summer in New Hampshire – heavy and humid with a scattering of showers and a side of mosquitoes. Unless you have a covered and screened porch, it may not be the best weekend for outdoor dining. Look for breaks in the showers to fire up the grill for a cookout.

Not sure what to cook this weekend? Here are a few ideas:

Relax, shrug off the bad hair day and enjoy some good company. Enjoy some good company and a glass of wine while you nibble some of my Asparagus Crostini or Artichoke Leaves with Shrimp.

When you are ready to move to the table … start with great salad. Try my Caesar Salad Parmesan Croutons. I’ve got a great piece of swordfish for the grill. What about you? Try my Grilled Swordfish. Serve it with Caponata, Salsa Verde
or Tarragon Aioli. Not interested in fish this weekend? How about a Grilled Pork Chop. Add some Grilled Zucchini and Grilled Red Potatoes and dinner is done.

??????????The pick-your-own strawberry field down the road is open. Pick a bushel or a quart for my Strawberries with Yogurt Cream or Strawberry-Rhubarb Soup. Delicious!

Have a wonderful weekend and bon appétit!
