Dad’s Shrimp Cocktail
3/4 cup ketchup
1 small dollop drained horseradish
Juice of 1/4 lime
3-4 per great big (16/20 per pound) shrimp person, peeled and de-veined
Make the cocktail sauce: put the ketchup, horseradish and lime juice in a small bowl and stir to combine.
Arrange the shrimp on a large platter and serve with the cocktail sauce.
Since he never adds enough horseradish at least one of his kids or grandkids will stir in a second, more generous dollop of horseradish.
